BRAID BURNS, LONGNIDDRY
A new-build garden designed to creat a tranquil contemporary outdoor space for entertaining friends and family.
Evergreen structure was used to provide privacy screening from the surrounding houses, and an ever changing planting scheme of purple, green and white marks the passing of the seasons. Multi-stem trees create elegant focal points within the garden. To maximise the functionality of the space we introduced 3 main zones.
Daytime seating areas are positioned in the sunniest parts of the garden and seating area with fire-pit to be enjoyed when in the evenings, in the North facing corner of the garden.
Swathes of planting Ornamnetal grasses and perennials wrap around the terraces to create a series of intimate rooms and add seasonal interest.
